Places
There are many interesting places along the river and some beautiful countryside. You can follow the river on foot from Tonbridge to Maidstone and then on to Rochester. See our section on recreational walks for details of these routes.
In addition, follow the place name links on the right hand side to find out about some of the villages along the Medway from Allington across to Tonbridge. There are additional links for more information about some of the features in the villages.
