As well as the many different recreational activities which you can get involved in (see recreation), we also have an Environmental Education Activities Pack for you to download.
If you need some inspiration for what to do with your children or a school group, this excellent pack will give you many ideas for outdoor games and fun educational activities which will not break the bank. In the pack there are details of many outdoor games from Scavenger and Mini Beast Hunts to make your own Wildlife Trail. Overall there are ten different activities to choose from to keep you and your children amused outdoors and each of the activities is a great way for younger people to learn about wildlife while also having fun.
Included in the pack are some Sensory Walks which are self guided circular walks around specific sites near the River Medway. Each walk is designed not just to take you along a nice scenic route but also to encourage you to use all of your senses to discover the countryside and wildlife around you.
